Squad up! The next big game from the makers of Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars is about to bust out.
Starring familiar faces from developer Supercell’s hits, the manic multiplayer Squad Busters is due out May 29. Here’s what this all-star party has in store:
Star-studded squads
Burly barbarians. Sneaky goblins. Leaping luchadores! You start each match with just one wee unit, but as you defeat monsters, chop down trees, and open chests, you’ll add to your auto-attacking squad. Pick up Colt from Brawl Stars for some long-range firepower or Clash Royale’s hard-charging Hog Rider to get up close and personal.
You’ll bump into other squads, of course, all in search of precious Gems. The team that grabs the most, wins!
Growth potential
Wish the wrestler El Primo was a little...heftier? Collect three of him during a match and they’ll fuse into a single supersized giant with increased health and more effective special abilities. The bigger, the better!
You can also upgrade characters by progressing through the game. Level up your barbarian and even the baby version will pack a serious punch.
Familiar foes
The battlefield is teeming with trouble—and fans of other Supercell games will feel right at home taking down Bowlers, Giant Skeletons, Golems, and other characters from the developer’s shared universe. It’s a game of greatest hits!
